Food is worth the wait and the pupusas are my favorite food ever. The menu is different now and has added new items have yet try some but this will always be go too best prices in Fort Wayne.

First time I went. Loved it. It's not the same food, but it definitely reminded me of food I used to enjoy in Bolivia. Small little restaurant. You would miss it if you didn't know it was there. Definitely worth going though. Staff was friendly and the service was quick.

Nice meals....!!! The flavor tastes the same way as my mother used to cook. I am Mexican, and I know how to enjoy a good home made Beef or Chicken Soups! The flavor from this restaurant made me remind about my hometown. Thank you El Rinconcito....!!!

Loroco pupusas are amazing, plus a whole jar of slaw for the table. Highly recommend.

GREAT hole in the wall spot. Very quick, authentic, tasty, and reasonably priced. If you're from fw you've probably driven past this place countless times. Strongly suggest stopping!

Wow!!! A Salvadoran restaurant in the bowels of Fort Wayne.....what a find!! A huge menu with helpful pictures for us gringos! We needed lots of help but the staff was pleasant and helpful. We ate like the cerdos we are! We tried the loco plate...(a sample of lots of things) and the arroz con pollo and everything tickled or taste buds. I will not list all of the unique food we ordered as it would bore you foodies. However we kept saying wow, what's that? ...and that's the best I've ever tasted! If you want to taste the food of Central American....don't miss this spot in down town Fort Wayne.

Very good pupusas! I will be back just for those. They were also hot and fresh when I picked them up. Can't beat the price either! I got 2 pupusas and a side order of chips and salsa and it was 6$. Great deal!!

Great little place to grab some food and unexpectedly tasty and inexpensive. The service is a little slow and we waited for awhile before we were greeted by someone to seat us. Waitress was busy but courteous but I had to ask for anything we needed including refills more chips and our bill. The inside is clean and hasn't changed at all except the decorations on the wall since it's previous occupant. The bathroom is also clean and contains two stalls for the women. The menu has some wonderful choices and I try to get something new each time. I love their chimichangas. They are filled to the brim with meat and onions and lettuce and fries perfectly and topped with yummy gooey cheese. The chips and salsa are decent but not My favorite. The burritos are also stuffed full and they have a good selection of them. I love their refried beans and dipping the chips in it is a must. Great prices and great tasting food. Def recommend coming.

True to form I got one of everything because it was my first time here. It is a small place on wells st. If how it usually works but we grabbed menus and picked a table. A young lady came over and got our drink order while we decided what all we wanted. Tamalito, chicharrones, papusa, pastelitos de pollo, and the tostones. The tamalito was served with cream almost like sour cream but it was a nice corn bread. The chicharrones were fried to crispy perfection and went well with the red sauce they bring to the table. Tostones were a bit sweet and went amazing with the cream I had left over. The pastelitos de pollo was the show stopper though... a wonderfully seasoned shredded meat inside of a delicious crust. The papusa were also pretty tasty. I can wait to g

Okay so i don't just throw around 4 star reviews. Therefore, you know when a restaurant gets one-they absolutely earned it. And new eaterie, El Rinconcito, earned these stars. Authentic. Flavor-filled. Fresh. Grandma is in the kitchen. Down home, Salvadoran/Mexican deliciousness. Papusas and tacos are priced right at $1.50. The asada taco was filled with small pieces of steak, topped with cilantro and white onions and served with lime. Ok but i wouldn't return for the tacos. I WILL absolutely return for the papusas. Hot off the griddle, the tender masa dough us slightly crisp on the outside and stuffed with your filling. In my case, beans, pork and lots of cheese. Its magical! It has a certain umaminess. And when you pair it with the tanginess of the curtido (the vinegary cabbage slaw) and the heat of the chunky tomato salsa...mmmmm...A-MAY-ZING! And i saw fried fish that looked great. A seafood soup that was filled with all kinds of oceanic goodness. Menudo. You name it, it came out the kitchen looking awesome. You won't visit El Rinconcito for the atmosphere. But you will visit it for friendly, attentive and informative service. You will definitely return for the papusas. And you will tell others because there aren't many places in Fort Wayne that transport your mind and your taste buds to other countries. Yet, I promise you that El Rinconcito will!
